Description

“Folks who lean towards a more traditional rye bourbon mash bill will really appreciate this one. It still has the approachability of a wheater, but with the complexity of a traditional mash bill.” Marianne Eaves, Master Distiller

Our small batches start with a Southern cuisine-inspired, mash bill of 75% white corn, 12% winter white wheat, and 13% malted barley. LIke our other wheated bourbons, we used more energy intensive low temperature fermentation. As a result, the yeast activity is more restrained, which allows for a distinct and more complex flavor profile.

Batch 3 is similar to Batch 1 in its boldness but with added complexity.
